But Tom Mchea gave Infamous 2 a 7.5 just a few months ago, and has now given The Gunstringer an 8.5. So if I were to tell Tom that I was torn between buying either The Gunstringer or Infamous 2, it wouldn't make sense for him to recommend me a game that he didn't score as highly as another game. Therefore, The Gunstringer must be better than Infamous 2

Movies are rated based on the genre of movie it is or the audience it is for. I would like to think games are too, but never looked it up. A 8.5 for a motion game is like a 5.5 for a normal game. No, an 8.5 for a motion game is not 5.5 for a normal game. Using your analogy, that's like rating an action movie for its horror aspects. Quite simply, it's nonsensical, and you don't do it.

An 8.5 for a Kinect game is an 8.5 for a Kinect game. It's that simple. It simply means that not only is the game good, it uses the Kinect motion control sensor very well.

Can't believe I'm saying it, but a couple more good games and I might actually have to try Kinect.

I never thought I'd see the day when gamers would be excited about crap like this... but I guess when some gamers are reduced to about 1 decent exlusive a year.. thats what happens.

It's about time. I can dust Kinect off and test it out again. Hasn't been anything worth playing since my wife accidentally bought it for me. She tried tho... she tried.

Hmmm, that doesnt make any sense. Just happens that this game is better in it´s genre than other 'core´games at their genres.
